The Nigeria Union of Campus Journalists (NUCJ), University of Calabar Council, on Tuesday, 30th June 2026 (yesterday), paid a courtesy visit to the Cross River Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC) as part of activities towards the successful planning and execution of its forthcoming Press Week 2026. The visit provided an opportunity for both organisations to engage in meaningful discussions on areas of partnership, media development, and the advancement of journalism among campus journalists.
During the visit, the NUCJ delegation had a fruitful engagement with the management of CRBC, where discussions centred on possible collaboration and support towards strengthening the activities of the Press Week. Both parties expressed their readiness to work together in promoting responsible journalism, professional media practice, and the need for credible information dissemination in society.
The NUCJ reiterated its commitment to continuous growth and improvement across all sectors, especially in promoting excellence among young journalists. The union looks forward to a strong partnership with CRBC as it continues to create platforms that inspire, educate, and empower campus journalists.
