CUECO Committee Releases List of Cleared Aspirants for 2026 SUG Election

The Calabar University Electoral Commission Committee, CUECO, has concluded the screening exercise for aspirants vying for positions in the 2026 Students’ Union Government election and has released the official list of cleared candidates. The screening, held earlier this week, assessed applicants on academic standing, conduct, and eligibility requirements in line with the union’s electoral guidelines.

Following a thorough review, the committee confirmed that only candidates who met all criteria have been cleared to contest. The published list is now available to the student body, paving the way for the next phase of the election process. CUECO urged all cleared aspirants to adhere to the campaign regulations and encouraged students to engage with the process as preparations for the polls continue.
