 Town Hall Meeting With Students in the University of Calabar 

The management of the University of Calabar has announced a town hall meeting for all students of the institution.

The meeting, according to a memo issued by the Registrar, Dr (Mrs) Chukwaka I. Icha, on the directive of the Vice Chancellor, is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Godswill Akpabio International Conference Centre, University of Calabar, by 10:00 a.m.

The memo, dated May 26, 2026, stated that all students of the university are invited to attend the meeting. It further directed that all Heads of Departments and Deans of Faculties be present at the event.

To facilitate full participation, the Vice Chancellor also directed that lectures slated for the period of the town hall meeting be rescheduled. This, the memo noted, will enable students to attend the meeting alongside their Heads of Departments and Deans.

The university management urged students and other concerned stakeholders to treat the notice as urgent and ensure their attendance at the meeting.

The town hall meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for direct engagement between the university administration and students on matters relating to the institution.
